Wii Fit
The Nintendo Wii has become the ultimate fitness device with the introduction of the Wii Fit. Whether you’re a 5 year-old bundle of energy, olympic athlete in the prime of your life or a 90 year-old grandmother wanting to stay fit - the Wii Fit is your new best friend!
The Wireless Wii Balance Board detects your weight and balance on each side of the board allowing the player’s movement to directly determine the actions of your in game character. The outcome? A fun way for families and friends to excercise together… and track their progress.
Wii Fit games will be broken into four groups: Aerobic Excercises, Muscle Conditioning, Yoga Poses and Balance Games. Here are some of the individual activities that the Wii Fit will include:
- Downhill Skiing
- Yoga
- Pushups
- Step Aerobics
- Soccer Head Balls
- Hula Hooping
- Jogging
- Tight Rope Walking
The Wii Fit has it’s own channel on the Wii Menu, allowing Wii Fit gamers around the world to compare fitness notes and progress. The Wii Fit is a ground breaking device in itself, but the doors it opens for future games is just as exciting. Imagine a game like Tony Hawk where the Wii Balance Board is the main controller for operating your skater!
